Invited by Janice Bennett, (New York Life Insurance agent and member of OBA‘s strategic planning committee), OBA took part in New York Life’s Community Empowerment Town Hall meeting discussing financial stability, economic opportunity, and creating multi-generational wealth in communities of color. In the house were members of various African, American, and West Indian communities, New York Life’s African-American market agents, and leaders interested in changing the conversation about what we spend vs. what we build.
